The Washington TMJ Center has been an established institution of the Washington, DC area for the past 25 years with its’ primary focus on the diagnosis and treatment of craniomandibular disorders. It is estimated that nearly 10 million Americans suffer from these types of disorders at any given time, and many go undiagnosed due to symptoms that may seem unrelated to the jaw joints and muscles, such as headaches and tooth wear. Due to the complexity of these disorders it is important to see a doctor who is formally trained and experienced in craniomandibular disorders, as well as being qualified to direct and coordinate the appropriate therapy.

At The Center, Dr. Paul K. Piontkowski has successfully treated thousands of acute and chronic pain suffers with proven and effective conservative therapies. Regardless of how minimal or extensive the therapy, Dr. Piontkowski personally coordinates and supervises each patient until the disorder has been resolved.
