Insurance & Financial Policy

Insurance companies generally do not cover the cost of treating TMJ Disorders due in part to the disagreement about whether these problems are considered medical or dental. Benefits for treatment are customarily filed under a major medical insurance policy, not a dental plan. Because your insurance policy is a contract between you and your insurance carrier we cannot provide details regarding coverage for your treatment or an estimate of charges that will be reimbursed to you by your insurance company. Our best recommendation is to review your medical and dental insurance policy and contact your insurance carrier directly to determine coverage, pre-authorization requirements, limitations, and exclusions for treatment under your policy.

Because of the limited insurance coverage for TMJ Disorders, our office does not participate or accept insurance. Payment for services provided in our office are required as services are rendered at each visit. Our staff will provide you with the information necessary for you to submit a claim to your insurance. We recommend you contact your insurance carrier and request instructions for filing your claim.

We accept payment by check or all major credit cards including VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.

Payment plans for estimated treatment may be made with Care Credit Services upon prior approval of your credit application. Apply Now to see if you qualify!
